Orange County Hotels provide a great base for golfing, sailing and surfing. Orange County also has Disneyland and miles and miles of fabulous beaches. It is a favorite destination for beach weddings, and is well endowed with hotels sufficient to meet the needs of all these tourists.

Orange County, California, can provide just about anything a visitor could wish for, and its range of shops and stores is second to none. It is a very popular county in a very popular state, so you will be well advised to book your accommodation needs well in advance. There are always cancellations or no turn-ups but you don’t want to organize your visit that way. Get booked up in the hotel of your choice, and there are plenty of Orange County Hotels to choose from.

Orange County Hotels - choices

Many Orange County Hotels will offer the tourist an all-inclusive package that will meet all of your needs, but make sure that you know what is included in your package in advance. In fact it can be a very tough job, picking a hotel in Orange County, because they all look so great. The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, sits right at the top of a 150 foot cliff so you don’t want to suffer from vertigo! However, it gives fantastic views of Catalina Island and the Pacific Ocean. This is a five diamond resort hotel offering a whole raft of water sports, and also tennis.

If you go down to Laguna beach then you will find amongst other Orange County Hotels, the Montage Resort and Spa that offers you a load of activities to keep you occupied in addition to the spa. Art classes, croquet and swimming. How’s that for a great choice of activities, some unusual admittedly, but fun nevertheless. However, if you prefer shopping, especially fashion, then the Four Seasons on Newport Beach offers the Fashion Island Shopping Center plus 36 holes of fabulous golf. This 295 room hotel is a joy to stay in, and you will think twice before switching the next time you visit Orange County.

Orange County Hotels - Disney

However, you can’t get away from Disney when you are in Orange County, especially Anaheim, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel offers everything you would expect of Orange County Hotels. You get a private entrance to the theme park and can charge meals, gifts and souvenirs to your room from some of the locations around the center.

California is very popular for golf, especially by those who live farther north – considerably farther north - where the golf season is relatively short and the courses close down for the winter. Many arrange winter golfing vacations, or, if they can afford it, simply move south for their winter golf. If you are in California for the golf, most of the Orange County Hotels are within less than a mile of a number of golf courses. Many, like the St. Regis at Dana Point can offer a golf course and also a wide variety of sports and activities to suit any in your party or family that prefer an alternative to golf.

Orange County Hotels - restaurants

The hotel restaurants are excellent, many specializing in fresh seafood such as the Doubletree in Anaheim and the La Quinta Inn at the John Wayne Airport, but if you prefer French cuisine, the Claes Restaurant in the Hotel Laguna is highly recommended. No matter what type of food you prefer, you are sure to find it in one or other of the vast choice of Orange County Hotels.

If you have children then practically every hotel provides you with all you could need. Many provide complimentary changing materials and also offer cots, high chairs and anything else your little one needs. Some Orange County Hotels even provide baby minding services while you can go out and enjoy yourself at night. These hotels understand that you don’t really want to sit in at night watching DVDs when you can be out dancing or enjoying a show. “What’s it tonight dear, Tom Jones or Tom Jr!”. You shouldn’t have to choose.

Of course, the one thing that Orange County Hotels can offer that most others can’t, especially in and around Anaheim, is Disneyland. If you are interested in Disneyland then your hotel should be in Anaheim since that is where the resort is located. Many people come worldwide to either Disneyland or Disney World in Florida, but if you ask any Californian which is best then there is only one answer. Many hotels in and around Anaheim offer packages for your family. From large chains such as Marriot to small independent hoteliers, they all offer packages that can cut the cost of your family’s trip. Most offer accommodation and various ticketing options such as the Portofino Hotel that is right across the street. Others offer free transport services to and from the resort.

Whatever your reason for wanting Orange County Hotels, you will find what you want but don’t forget the advice given earlier. Book in advance and don’t expect to turn up and find accommodation.
